Market Research Analyst Intern
Job description
We are a growing startup and are building the next generation of recruiting tools and on-demand recruiting services. Currently, we are looking for someone with a startup mindset, who is passionate about sales and market research. Primarily, you will be involved in market research, providing market insights and expansion opportunities.

What you will be doing
- Generate quality leads and reach out to potential clients and partners
- Research and compile data related to the current product market, customer demographics and interest, and factors influencing product demand
- Analyze results to identify ways of maximizing sales and market penetration of current products
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify new markets by collecting quantitative and qualitative information from consumers, competitors and market place using modern and traditional approaches
- Identifies potential new products or markets through research
- Consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations
- Derive insights and create frameworks to understand partner performance and derive upsell opportunities
- Provide support in investor relations with business insights and pitch decks
- Conduct market research fieldwork including meeting research requirements, conducting face-to-face or virtual meetings to collect raw data and recording and interpreting information provided by respondents
- Carry out customer and market research processes including hypothesis development, design of research methods and analysis, strategic analysis and action planning
- Performs other related duties as assigned
As a Market Research Analyst Intern, you will need:
- Minimum a Diploma in marketing, business administration, statistics, or other related disciplines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Able to work independently and intuitively
- Demonstrate ability to work cross-functionally and interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in market research and analysis including competitive analysis, consumer behavior analysis, customer segmentation and targeting
- Knowledge in data collection methods such as polls, focus groups and surveys
- Familiar with questionnaire design, table specifications and project management
- Analytical mindset with the ability to present data in a structured and informative way
- Experience in strategy / consulting / business finance roles will be an advantage
